Lucky Strike is located inside Ovation Hollywood Mall, home to the Dolby Theatre, Chinese Theatre, and other Hollywood landmarks. The mall also has an underground parking structure. Validation is available for the first 3 hours for $4. You can request validation from the bar or from your server if you are seated at a table.
To help protect valuable items such as pedals, guitars, laptops, and other equipment, please do not bring anyone who is not part of the show into the green room.
1. Upon arrival, please scan the check-in barcode at the venue so we can confirm you are on-site and ready for your performance.
2. If you have trouble checking in with the barcode, please ask Jamie, Athan, or one of the show producers for help so they can check you in manually.
3. Please arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before your song and be in the green room at least 10 minutes before your timeslot. Pay close attention to the songs being performed so you know when your song is coming up. We will not be calling names on the microphone or tracking people down.
4. If someone from your group is not in the green room as your timeslot approaches, make sure the rest of the band is informed. Everyone is included in the song group emails, so feel free to exchange contact info before the show if needed.
5. If you are not in the green room and ready when it is your turn, your song may be replaced by the next one. This is a larger venue, so it is difficult to locate people last-minute.
6. If your slot is more than 15 minutes away, please avoid staying in the green room so we can prevent congestion and keep things moving smoothly.
Please arrive early to support your fellow musicians. Donβt forget to share the event with friends, family, and music lovers β they do not have to be performers. The more support in the room, the better.
The venue offers a great selection of drinks and tasty food. There are also bowling lanes available if you want to make a full night out of it. π³
Your promotional material can be found in the MEDIA ARCHIVE. Feel free to reshare photos, videos, and flyers, tag the photographer, tag POPROCKZ LIVE, and add us as a collaborator when appropriate.
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE ANY MIC STANDS FROM THE GUITARISTS. There are cables and guitar pedals on the floor that can easily get unplugged or damaged. You are welcome to take the microphone off the stand, but do not move the stand itself.
Any gear you need us to add during your set must be requested in advance. We submit a stage plot before the show, and the sound engineer needs that information ahead of time, not at the last minute before you go on stage.
πΈ Guitarists:
If you need extra pedals or accessories, such as a wah, in-ear monitors, or anything else, please let us know in advance. The FX unit includes a pitch shifter block available for both guitars. Wah, whammy, and pitch shifter pedal options are available for G1. A tuner will be available in the green room for guitar or bass.

π€ Vocalists:
A teleprompter with lyrics will be positioned in front of you and controlled by a foot pedal near your mic stand. It has BACK and NEXT buttons, and all song lyrics will be in order.
π₯ Drummers:
The breakables β cymbals, kick pedal, and snare β are provided by us. Please be mindful when using them.
If you are interested in a multi-track recording of your song, please let us know in advance. We need to prepay for the recording of the entire show. There is a $10 charge per song for this service.
We will also have a multi-camera video recording of the show available for this event. If you would like us to mix the audio and video, feel free to reach out.
We usually have a camera in front of the stage recording performances. Please keep in mind that footage can take more than a week to become available. Once it is ready, you will be able to access it in the MEDIA ARCHIVE.
